Prayer Page for "Peeps"

Dear Friends,

This is a special place to ask for help or guidance for loved ones. If we post a request for relief of suffering of a loved one, and a request for strength and fortitude to be given, I believe that our focus can only help both those in need, and those affected by the suffering of our friends or family for whom we pray.

  • I pray for my parents-in-law, sisters-in-law, stepchildren and child, during their suffering and grief over the loss of my beloved husband, (and their son, father, stepfather and brother) Jesse. I also pray for the grief of all the friends and family who miss him.

    I pray that my son is able to fulfill his dreams and ask that God enable him to go where his heart longs him to go. I ask for God's guidance and for my son's safety and wellbeing.

    I pray for the health of my parents back home, and for my cousin, Judy and for the health and wellbeing of my brothers and their families. I also pray for the health of my friends who have physical or emotional ailments and ask for God's blessings for us all.

  • A special prayer for a neighbor who is totally distraught and feels that everyone is against her. May she have peace of mind, balm for her spirit, calmness of heart and clarity of vision.

  • Dear God

    A prayer for Tracy and Adam. May they have a most wonderful and meaningful wedding ceremony, today, this 25th day of September.

    May their lives be blessed with love, laughter and light. I wish that their marriage be filled with happiness and contentment together, for all the days of their lives. Please shine your light upon them and bless them in all that they do.

  • Well, I was hoping it would not happen, but my neighbor now believes I'm an enemy. I pray for her peace of mind and for my own protection. I really am not sure what to expect. I think I must just remain in "neutral" and not have much conversation with her if at all possible. I think it would only be misconstrued in her perception. I tried to reassure her that I was a friend, but that apparently backfired. I don't think she will be moved to action, but I believe she is unpredictable. I hope she sees the light and clears her vision.

  • Thank you, Karuna.

    I need to pray for my mom-in-law. Next to myself, she is having the hardest time grieving for the loss of Jesse. Please, God, let her find peace in her heart. She is so upset that she just cannot pray. She is angry at the moment, as am I.

    I also want to pray for my dad. He is having memory lapses and has been disoriented with time and direction since he had his stroke a few years ago. I pray for his peace of mind and his safety. I also pray that my mom can be supportive to him during his time of need, as he was to her during hers.

    I also need the strength and endurance to attend to my steno the way I should be. I think I have taken about 10 steps back.

    I join Raven in praying for our friend with the spot on her lung. May it evaporate with her breath in and out. I wish her good health and strength.

  • Dear God

    I offer up prayers to You for my dear friend who is battling to control her diabetes and is getting depressed about it. I also pray that she has the strength to make a desired journey and that she has the inner strength to be a comfort to her ailing sister. She is a real sweetheart. Blessings on her head.

  • Amen, Sister! You say things so beautifully Boppie. What a precious post. I am learning about God from y'all. When I read the English version of services from the Jewish prayer books, so much focus is on self-castigation and repentance, particularly at this time of year. I know I don't know a lot about the Judaic approach to prayer, but it does not seem so joy-filled. I have never learned to lean on God. I am so touched by the way y'all understand the value of handing over so much better than I do. Feeling alone sucks. Maybe I just have a lot to learn still. God bless you.

    I wish I could have some peace of mind when I sleep. I toss and turn so much and have disquieting dreams. I really need some deep sleep so that I can be clear-minded for college.

  • Dear God

    Would it be possible for You to send a special friend to my needy neighbor? She needs someone desperately and I honestly don't have the time or energy to devote to her, as I have to find the energy and spend the time on my steno if I want to move forward with my course.

    Please - a Big Prayer for help with my court reporting. I am really struggling.

    The team at the store desperately need your help. No sooner does one issue get resolved, than another bigger one comes about. The efforts being made there are sincere and hardworking. The intent is to have everything running smoothly and properly so that the store will score the top points, particularly in memory of Jesse. They are trying SO hard. Please allow them to reap the rewards for all their hard work and sincerity of heart. They really do deserve it!

  • I have a friend who was just told that he has a mass the size of a lemon on his left lung. Please pray for a favorable diagnosis as he undergoes a biopsy on Mon. the 2nd.
    I told his wife of our wonderful group and that we would be praying for him.

    Thank you for the blessings of the friends I have made here on the blog. They have shown me lovingkindness and understanding and have kept me lifted up when I otherwise, might well have drowned. They are so special... each and every one of them. I have learned so much through them, and they help me to not feel so alone.

    Please look after my friend, Vicki, and her sweet mother and the rest of their family during this time. Vicki is in a state of shock at witnessing her mom's bleeding and her struggle. I pray that all the attending medical staff are able to give Vicki's mom all the help she needs!

  • Dear Lord,

    I pray that Raven's precious babies will find their way home safely and that all will be well.

    I also pray that you be with me and my depression and the anger fits and frustration, odd sleeping patterns, etc. that go along with it. Life has not been easy for me, but I know, with your guidance, that you will give me the strength to carry on.

    I, of course pray that you be with me and my career situation, that you lead me along the right path and show me the way to go. I am trusting in your wonderful guidance and nurturing of strength.

    I pray most of all for my Nookster friends and all of their many problems and situations.

  • Lord, I thank you for sending Raven's two precious doggies back to her. I also pray for Piper's leg that it will heal up quickly. I also pray to thank for easing up our Presley's arthritis. He is such a sweet doggie and I am so happy that he is doing better.

  • sue-lynn tx i just want to say thank you for starting this part of the blog. we needed a place to be able to come and honestly say prayers for all who need them. i know i need a prayer now and then we all do. god bless you my dear and continued prayers for you and all that you have been through. cybergran i have the same problem at night with my legs. it is called restless legs syndrome. kind of a pain. you can be exhausted but your legs want to party if you know what i mean. anyway god bless all and you are all in my prayers cause you are all my extended family.

    Dear Lord, Today we thank You for our friends and family members that have passed on to spend eternity with you, if that is what You have chosen for them. We pray for Jim, that his suffering is over and that it is his time to rest in peace with you. Please be with Mone and Nichole and all the family and Richard and Lisa and all his friends.
    I ask you too, Our Father, to open your arms to my friend Ruth K. who went to be with you on May 29, 2007. She was a wonderful friend to all who knew her and a devoted wife and Mother and Grandmother to 7 beautiful children. Please give peace to her family and friends to accept her sudden passing. We ask this in the name of your Son, Jesus. Amen

  • Dear Lord

    Thank you so much for all the dear people on this blog. And thank You for moving SueLyn to create this part of the blog.

    Thank You for speaking to me and encouraging me to start to write letters to my precious husband, who went home to You 6 months ago. I wrote the first letter this morning. At first it was hard, but became easier as I continued to write. I pray that it will continue to be a healing process for me. You know how much I miss him. I'm just grateful that You ended his suffering and that he is well and whole again with You.

    Dear Lord, I come to you in prayer today to ask that you give our Dear Friend, Jackie some peace of mind in the trial that she must face in the days and weeks ahead. Please be with Jackie, Lloyd and Lisa Jo and all the family to give them the strength to fight this battle. We know that they cannot do it without YOU.
    Remind her, Dear Lord, that she is not going through this alone. She has family, friends, her Peeps and You. Help her each day as only you know how. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus name we pray. AMEN
